The principle of mining unusable coins is basically simple. After downloading the mining software, you select the coin you want to „mine“ and lend your computer’s computing power (it will select the most viable coin to mine realistically). The efficiency of such mining is not very high (when using the CPU), but why leave your computer idle. I’m not encouraging anyone to use a working computer to do this, but still, it’s certainly something someone would think of. It’s also an interesting way to get some amount of coins that simply can’t be mined.
As with all miners, Widows will heroically ban you from downloading the install file, you’ll probably have to make an exception anyway. You need to take this into account and either use Opera to download or make an exception for microsoft browsers.
The other option is to just download the installer file and for that download the Xmrig miner (for CPU mining) and Phoenix miner, lolMiner, NBMiner, T-Rex (for graphics card mining) then just set the path to the exe file in the application itself and run it. The application offers full CPU (graphics) utilization when you are working on the computer and full utilization when the computer is just lying down.
You have the option to mine directly even coins that are impossible or very difficult to mine. Nice hash works on a similar principle, automatically converting your mined coins into Bitcoin, but only into Bitcoin.
